The Alverton Practice is situated within The St Clare Medical Centre which is in the heart of the port town of Penzance, with a branch surgery in the fishing port of Newlyn.
We have monitoring facilities, internet, photocopying and scanning facilities for Clinical Research Assistants. We are a friendly practice, who are keen to co-operate closely with monitors.
The research centre has been performing clinical research since 1996 and Dr John Ryan has much experience in phase II, III and IV studies in a wide range of indications. John has been UK chief investigator in the past and has been involved in protocol development and a previous member of the local ethics committee.
