Surgery Locations

Current CCRG sites spread from Penzance to Plymouth from 6 GP surgeries. If you are not a patient at one of our 6 listed sites, it may still be possible to join one of our clinical trials. We would need your permission to contact your own GP with an outline of the clinical trial you are interested in and to request a copy of your patient notes. Rest assured that any information gathered will be treated in the strictest of confidence, stored securely, and no patient identifiers are allowed to be externally released.

The research centre has been performing clinical research since 1996 and Dr John Ryan has much experience in phase II, III and IV studies in a wide range of indications.

Newquay Health Centre
Newquay, Cornwall

The team is led by Principal Investigator Dr Nick Jacobsen who has been research active since 2014 and is dual trained in both medical research and general medical practice.

Brunel Medical Practice
Torquay, Devon

Brunel Medical Practice is situated in Torquay, overlooking Babbacombe Bay with two branch sites across the town. Brunel has been involved in medical research for more than 10 years.

Oak Tree Surgery
Liskard, Cornwall

Oak Tree Surgery has been involved in clinical trials since 1995 and currently works with a wide range of Global Partners delivering quality research under the CCRG banner.

Fowey River Surgery
Fowey, Cornwall

Fowey River Practice has been a dedicated clinical trial centre since 1978. Dr Mike Waldron has worked in clinical research since 1994, and was joined by Dr Paula Marrett in 2013.

Rame Surgery
Torpoint, Cornwall

Rame Medical Ltd is the research arm of Rame Group Practice and operates out of a large purpose built facility, Penntorr Health, which opened in 2015.
